New 2024 ICD-10 codes have been released by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The changes include:
- 473 new codes
- 27 code revisions
- 30 deletions
The updated 2024 ICD-10-CM and 2024 ICD-10-PCS codes must be used for discharges and patient encounters effective October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. Please take action now to be in regulatory compliance and to avoid claims processing interruption.
