UDS+ Reporting Deadline Paused Until Further Notice

If your organization was planning to submit 2024 UDS+ data, please review the important information below.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced on 4/24/25 that UDS+ patient-level reporting will not be required for 2024 and is on hold until further notice.

As a result:

  • HRSA will not be receiving any 2024 UDS+ or patient-level data.
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and vendors, including NextGen Healthcare, are not to submit anything until further notice.
  • If you were working with NextGen Healthcare as one of our Early Adopter Testers, please note all plans to submit 2024 data have been halted pending further HRSA guidance.

As your EHR partner, we understand that this news can be challenging, and you may have many questions. We have provided this UDS+ Submission Deadline Pause Client FAQ for additional information.

NextGen Healthcare remains committed to supporting our FQHC clients and we are moving forward with our original plan to deliver a modernized UDS reporting tool this June. This tool is designed to streamline and support your standard legacy HRSA Electronic Handbook (EHB) submissions.

We are looking forward to serving you in 2025 and beyond. If you need assistance or have questions about how this impacts your reporting timeline, feel free to reach out to your Client Success Manager.
