We are pleased make our General Release (GR) of NextGen® Ophthalmology Suite, Fall 2019, available for upgrade. NextGen Ophthalmology Suite is a stand-alone upgrade package that offers clients the ability to upgrade ophthalmic specific clinical content. The Fall 2019 release contains enhancements to save time, reduce clicks, and enhance patient satisfaction.

Here are the top 3 “must have” features:
- Copy forward past exam by Provider and date – No more building from scratch or copying only the last exam! Simply choose any prior exam to use as a starting point when documenting today’s physical exam. If you choose to copy the LAST exam, you now have the ability to copy the last exam with only one click.
- Quickly document the patient’s current eyeglass prescription – No need to enter today’s lensometry reading from scratch. Select a returning patients’ historical eyeglass prescription to pull into today’s visit.
- Document SITA Faster in the Strategy section of the eyevisualfield template – Fewer workflow disruptions. With just a click, simply select use of the SITA Faster strategy for Visual Fields testing without impacting work flow
