Medication Workflow Updates in Today’s Visit
New enhancements seamlessly integrate the medication workflow into the ambient documentation process, allowing providers to effortlessly manage diagnosis codes, orders, and prescriptions within a single streamlined workflow. Additionally, the integrated medications workflow includes DUR alerts and PDMP reports. AI-generated medication suggestions based on NextGen® Ambient Assist notes help optimize patient care.

How to Access the New Feature: Download 10.3.0 Release!
- Open the app and navigate to the Hub.
- Select the EAP icon located at the top right to join the Early Adopters Program.

Charge Capture Integration in Today’s Visit
Introducing the Charge Capture enhancement to your workflow: NextGen Mobile now integrates Charge Capture directly into Today’s Visit. This innovative feature allows providers to easily add office visit and procedure codes during patient encounters, ensuring a smooth transition from patient interaction to documentation. By streamlining charge and procedure entry and incorporating provider favorites in the Today’s Visit tab, it helps providers focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks.
New AI Patient Chart Summary (NextGen Mobile Pro Users Only)
This new, AI-powered Patient Story feature in NextGen Mobile provides concise summaries of a patient’s medical information to simplify chart navigation. This innovative tool automatically generates clear, actionable patient summaries, helping providers quickly grasp key details. The feature is automatically enabled for all eligible users within two weeks, ensuring a seamless experience.

- Tappable Upcoming Appointments on Hub, launching the patient chart
- Image Delivery powered by NextGen® API
- New notification for network-related discrepancies and a data telemetry dashboard
- Landscape orientation support for iPhone users
- Option to capture, upload, and delete patient profile pictures in Demographics
- Secure Messaging has been removed from Cloud Portal (CP) and Mobile, and all patient-centered correspondence must be sent into the chart before this release.
