NextGen® Learning Center is now available to virtually everyone at your practice! Beginning in 2020, a new per-provider license model will expand your training options.
NextGen Healthcare is committed to enabling you to achieve your unique objectives by providing our best ideas, capabilities and support. Effective January 1, 2020, all existing NextGen Learning Center (eLearning) licenses convert automatically from a per-user to a per-provider license upon annual renewal at no additional cost.
Benefits of new model
For each provider license, the new per-provider model provides eLearning access to five (5) end users, not just one! This change was made based upon information provided by the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), American Medical Association (AMA), and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). These groups determined that training support staff helps maximize provider efficiency. We believe the new per-provider model supports our commitment to provide your practice with the knowledge needed to optimize the use of your NextGen Healthcare solutions.

What’s new in the Learning Center
Here are some key new features:
- New platform: All new platform launched June 2019 that includes a modern, Google-like search and an updated user interface. There is also a mobile app for Android and Apple devices.
- Role-based training: Learn only what is essential for your role. Select all new role-based learning paths for each of six healthcare roles. Plus, it’s customizable!
- Hands-on exercises: Test what you’ve just learned with related homework exercises to use in your training database, reinforcing what you learned.
- New eLearning opportunities: We have two new ways for your organization to take advantage of the thousands of our eLearning titles. You can purchase the eLearning files to place in your own Learning Management System (LMS). If you do not have an LMS, you now have the option to add LMS administration capabilities for your organization.
