We are happy to share that 17 members of the NextGen Healthcare team recently volunteered at the Operation Christmas Child processing center in Duluth, GA as part of the Samaritan Purse Organization.
The organization focuses on collecting shoeboxes of gifts annually to be sent to children across the world in underserved countries. After the shoeboxes are collected across the US, they are transported to processing centers around the country to have the shoeboxes processed and prepared for international shipping.
The processing centers run for 4 weeks each year starting the week of Thanksgiving and are dependent on volunteers coming in to inspect the boxes for international shipping, then they must be taped, scanned, and packed in cartons for shipping.
