We’re excited to share that new Admin enhancements are coming soon to the NextGen Virtual Visits™ platform—designed to give your practice administrators more visibility, control, and efficiency than ever before.
What’s Coming to NextGen Virtual Visits
With the updated Admin experience, your team can now:
- Access Practice Data: View API status, versioning, user enrollment, and practice-level feature settings—all in one place.
- Manage Practice Users: Admins can now send password reset emails directly to users as well as search, filter, and review user details.
- Review Visit Types: View visit configurations, test communications, and download a summary overview of all visit types for your practice.
- Search Patient Visit Details: Quickly locate visit records with full visibility into guest logs, intake features, notifications, and connection data.
- Create Additional Admin Users: Grant Admin-only access to team members without a provider license or give Admin access to your existing Virtual Visits users.
How To Get Started
These features are available to all current NextGen Virtual Visits clients.
To get started, open a support case in Success Community with the following information to enable access for your practice’s first Admin User:
- Category: Virtual Visits
- Topic: Feature Configuration Add/Update
- Detail: Admin Access Request/Change
From there, that Admin can easily grant access to other team members—either by updating existing users or creating new Admin-only accounts. Features are configurable and default to “off,” so you can tailor them to your needs.
