The importance of excellent Quality Scores cannot be overstated. In addition to being a marker of the delivery of excellent clinical care, they affect the bottom line of your practice if you participate in CMS Quality Payment Programs or many value-based care contracts. They also impact the reputation of your practice to both current and prospective patients viewing your quality performance ratings.
We’re pleased to announce the Better Outcomes Quality Improvement Contest 2023! Eligible entrants* may win in either of the following categories:
- Highest Overall Total Performance Improvement: The practice with the highest overall decile calculation** performance for 2023 as of 8/31/2023 over their 2022 baseline for 5 measures out of the 17 specified below will be the winner in this category.
- Highest Decile Calculation: The practice with the highest decile calculation** performance for 2023 as of 8/31/2023 for 5 measures out of the 17 specified below will be the winner in this category.
There are 17 Quality Measures in this year’s contest, and winners in either category must track at least 5 of them, which means they must be configured in NextGen® HQM (HQM) by January 15, 2023. Contestants should configure and track all the Quality Measures which apply to their practice, since only the best 5 for each entrant will be used to determine the winners.
