Second call for help with uncovering ICD-10 state requirement reporting changes!

Calling all Medical Records Managers, Business Office Directors or Hospital CFO’s!! We need your help!

Has your state or region changed the financial state reporting requirements? Or will they be changing these reports in the upcoming months, specifically where ICD-10 coding is involved? If so, we would like you to send us an example of the report changes for internal development and testing.

Please provide us an example of the state report that is changing. For example, the Cancer Registry Report will pull on the diagnosis code. You will need to know if this will affect your reporting. If possible, please highlight or outline the changes that are occurring. This document is acceptable in any Microsoft format (such as Word, Excel, etc.) or as a PDF document. In the subject line, be sure to use the title “ICD-10, [Your State Name], State Reporting for [Your Facility Name]” so that we may easily identify the reports.

All emails should be sent to HospitalEHR@NextGen.com. You will receive a thank you reply shortly thereafter. If we have any additional questions, we will contact you directly. Please send all report changes or examples no later than June 1, 2015.

Please remember that sending us your state ICD-10 reporting does not transfer the ownership of meeting your state requirements from your facility to NextGen Healthcare. These report examples will only be used for development, planning and testing purposes. The responsibility of meeting state requirements is still managed by each individual facility. However, we are always here to help! This this just one more step we can take to ensure you are ready for the ICD-10 activation date.

If you have any ICD-10 related reporting questions, please forward your questions or comments to HospitalEHR@NextGen.com.
