We know that you always want to have the latest and greatest NextGen® software available to you. To help expedite the upgrade process, you are no longer required to submit an email request to have your TEST region updated for any of the clinical-related products.
Previously, an authorized representative from your facility needed to email the NextGen© Hospital Solutions Support team, to ask for an upgrade or patch to be applied to your TEST region. The email request is no longer necessary. Instead, while you will still receive an email notification announcing the new patch/upgrade, shortly thereafter, you will be informed that a ticket and an electronic CR (Change Request) notice has been already created for your facility. Once you sign the CR form, the patch/upgrade will be applied to your TEST region.
The process for the LIVE region upgrade process remains unchanged. At this time, only clinical-related products are affected. The process to upgrade NextGen Inpatient Financials TEST and LIVE regions is not affected, and will still require an email response from your facility before the CR is generated.
Modules that are affected by this upgrade change announcement include:
- NextGen® Hospital Knowledge Base Model (KBM), currently installing v2.0.6.
- NextGen® Inpatient Clinicals, currently installing v2.6.5.0.
- NextGen® Surgical Management, currently installing v1.9.118.
- NextGen® Pharmacy, currently installing v2.6.4.
- NextGen® Emergency Department, currently installing v6.0.16.
- NextGen® Laboratory, currently installing v3.3.3.4.
