The CMS deadline is June 30, 2023 to begin using the updated Advanced Beneficiary Notice of non-coverage (ABN) forms for services requiring notification of non-coverage under CMS rules. See the CMS website for more information.
Updated forms are now available for NextGen® Enterprise. Specifically, these forms will replace existing forms launched from:
- Orders Module
- NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine
- NextPen®
- NextGen® Therapy Suite
- NextGen® Orthopedic Suite
NextGen Enterprise clients should visit Success Community and follow these instructions to replace the ABN files in their software before June 30. CMS will allow the option of using either the current or updated ABN before the deadline.
