The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has reopened the Preview Period for Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Doctors and Clinicians (DAC) performance data, now available for public reporting. This extended window will remain open until
Thursday, August 21, 2025, 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
Why the Reopening?
CMS made several updates to the data, including:
- Addition of 2 clinician quality measures and 17 group quality measures
- Display corrections and performance data updates from the previously closed June Preview Period
Where to Review
Visit the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website for secure access to your preview data. You’ll also find the Measure Release Notes to Clinician Performance Information detailing the new measures and updates.
Who Should Review?
- MIPS-eligible clinicians, groups, virtual groups, subgroups, and APM Entities (including Medicare Shared Savings Program participants)
- Note: ACO group-level data won’t be available on the QPP site during this Preview Period. However, MIPS participants in ACOs can preview their performance via their 2023 MIPS Performance Feedback.
