Going forward, NextGen Healthcare will generate a letter upon request for clients enrolled on the NextGen Share®️ Carequality Service. This letter can be used as needed to show proof of enrollment on the Carequality network.
Who needs this letter?
Clients reporting the MIPS Promoting Interoperability Measure PI_HIE_5 (bi-directional health information exchange) may wish to save a copy of this letter in their audit binder in the event of a MIPS audit.* For more information about carequality specific to this measure, please review How Carequality Supports MIPS and Promoting Interoperability Requirements.
Note: If you are unsure whether your practice reports PI-HIE_5 or otherwise needs this letter, you may wish to forward this e-mail to the person in your organization responsible for MIPS reporting and compliance.
