The NextGen Healthcare UDS Reporting Tool requires discrete results for hemoglobin A1c and LDL results. The 2016 and beyond reporting periods will not support lab results entered in the Order_ table. Starting January 1, 2016 all A1c and LDL results must be entered into the Orders Module. The structure of the orders module will improve reporting accuracy for results. Clients who currently enter results using the Orders Management template will need to adjust their workflow to enter results in the Orders Module.
For clients needing workflow assistance and training on Orders Module results entry, please refer to Knowledge Exchange. The following LMS courses will be helpful:

We also encourage all clients to use LOINC mappings for increased accuracy. Contact your lab vendor to ensure they are sending LOINC codes with their results.
