Set up LOINC mapping now to optimize your 2015 PQRS reporting

NextGen Healthcare enables 2015 PQRS EHR Reporting for both individual providers and group practices. PQRS Reporting is based on CMS Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs). Keep in mind that if you will be reporting lab measures, you will need to use the correct setup for Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC). This particular setup requires that LOINC compendium is included in your EHR database. In addition, if you are using templates to order lab tests, you need to ensure the LOINC codes populate in the appropriate table within the Order Module when laboratory tests are ordered or results received.
