You can’t understate the importance of excellent MIPS Quality Scores. They affect the bottom line of your practice: 50% of your overall MIPS score in 2018 and 45% in 2019. Your MIPS Quality Scores also affect the reputation of your practice as patients and prospective patients view your quality performance scoring.
That’s why we’re excited to announce our redesigned—and better—Quality Score Improvement Initiative!
Go here to view our new Quality Score Improvement Initiative Page in Success Community.
The new tools and services that comprise our Quality Score Improvement Initiative are designed to help you achieve your best MIPS Quality Score.
The new Quality Score Improvement Initiative resources page also offers our new Quality Score Improvement Initiative webinar video. It’s a great overview of our Quality Score Improvement Initiative and all associated resources that you can rally to help improve your quality scoring.
The new resource page breaks down MIPS Quality Scoring into five easy steps:
- Understanding Quality Reporting
- Pick the Correct Measures
- Configure Your System
- Effectively Document Clinical Workflows
- Monitor Quality Measure Results
NextGen® Quality Measure Data Tool
This will really help your practice! We’re launching the new NextGen Quality Measure Data Tool because CMS requires LOINC codes for 2018 and 2019 quality reporting. This new tool can help you map LOINC codes to your orders so you get proper credit in your QPP reporting data.
Go here for Quality Measures Data Tool 1.0 Package
Use NextGen Quality Measure Data Tool to load and update LOINC lab test compendia into NextGen® Enterprise. The new tool helps you map LOINCs to lab vendors, update LOINC compendium in NextGen Enterprise, update the historical LOINCs for patient records, and update the LOINCs for the same type of tests in different compendia.
LOINC Mapping Assistance Service
NextGen provides professional consulting services to assist with mapping LOINC codes to laboratory tests for clients who incorporate lab orders for their quality reporting. The mapped codes will be applied to the system after NextGen receives signoff from clinical staff. This service is provided remotely. You may request it by reaching out to your account executive or account manager for details.
