NextGen Share helps clients save more time and money starting on April 26

On April 26, 2018, NextGen Share clients will be activated on payer interface medical record extraction services for Inovalon, CIOX, and EMSI on all NextGen Share platforms.

  • Save time and money by not having to pull payer-requested patient records yourself
  • Minimize office disruption—automatic record sharing eliminates need for onsite record review
  • Reduce the turnaround time to share requested patient records
  • Lessen security risk by lowering patient health information (PHI) views
  • Improve security via automated record transfer

Payer medical record extraction services allow for free, secure, and effortless retrieval of relevant clinical information and documents for authorized parties. All data retrievals are recorded in the PHI log and activity can be monitored from the NextGen Share user portal.

Later this year we’ll enhance our payer interfaces (including Carequality, RLS, and Aetna) with two additional features:

  • Practice Level Activation (PLA) will enable multi-practice enterprises to activate a payer interface to only desired practices instead of the entire enterprise
  • Document selection will allow you to select which document types to include during record retrievals

Action required to decline

If you do not want the medical record extraction services for Inovalon, CIOX, and EMSI to be activated on your NextGen Share platform you must email an opt-out request to NGShareOptOut@nextgen.com before Friday, April 20. If you have previously activated one of these services and later turned it off, you will not be reactivated for that service.

Opt-out requests after Friday, April 20, 2018, can be processed by opening a support ticket in NextGen Healthcare Success Community.
