LabCorp is now offering the M3 Checklist

Attention, NextGen Healthcare practices that process lab orders through the LabCorp interface.  LabCorp is now offering the M3 Checklist multi-condition mental health screening tool to its nationwide primary care provider (PCP) network.

M3 Checklist is a nationally recognized, peer-reviewed, and clinically validated tool1 that compiles and evaluates a patient’s potential for mood and anxiety symptoms through a secured web-based system.  This 27-question assessment, typically completed by patients in mere minutes, screens for symptoms of four common mental health conditions: anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

In addition, physicians also have the option of utilizing the AUDIT-C: a brief but predictive assessment of alcohol use.  This optional screen can be ordered separately or in combination with the M3 Checklist.

For additional information, please refer to the M3 Orders Creation Workflow and Best Practices White Paper.
