New 2018 ICD-10 Codes Available

New 2018 ICD-10 codes have been released by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) containing approximately 363 new codes, 142 deletions, and over 250 code revisions. The updated 2018 ICD-10-CM and 2018 ICD-10-PCS codes must be used for discharges and patient encounters from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.

Action must be taken now to be in regulatory compliance and to avoid claims processing interruption.

REQUIRED NEXT STEPS
