Mobile Service Update 5.8 UD1 & 5.8 UD2

A software update was applied to the NextGen® Mobile servers to address Known Issues. The defects listed below have been corrected:

  • An “Error loading page” message that sometimes displayed between the procedures selections screen and the diagnosis screen will no longer display. (Known Issue – #KI96026)
  • A certain sequence of screens while adding a medication caused the send / fax / Rx screen to fail.  This error has been resolved and will now work as intended.
  • Clicking the browser back button during charge entry will now return the user to the Charge screen not the Charge History screen.
  • On the Procedures screen, selecting the Cancel button will now return the user to the correct screen. *Impacted Safari browsers only
  • User is now able to utilize the scroll bar on the Patient Chart Summary page when logging in on an Android device and using Internet Explorer
  • Overflow issues in Chrome browser which prevented user from scrolling on the Appointment, PAQ and Tasking page when logged into an Android device using a Chrome Browser, are fixed

If your NextGen Healthcare production database is on 5.8 UD1, Mobile service will need to be updated to utilize the most recent version (5.8.2.112).

If your NextGen Healthcare production database is on 5.8 UD2, version 5.8.3.185 released in January addressed the listed defects. However, we recommend verifying your Mobile service is using the most recent version.
