LOINC mapping REQUIRED for 2017 UDS Reporting

NextGen Healthcare supports UDS Reporting for CHCs and FQHCs receiving BPHC 330 grants. For 2017 reporting, lab measures will require Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC). These measures include Diabetes and Hemoglobin A1c Control, Cervical Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening (FOBT values), and Coronary Artery Disease and Lipid Lowering Therapy (LDL values). This setup requires that the LOINC compendium is included in your EHR database. In addition, if you are using templates to order lab tests, you need to ensure the LOINC codes populate in the appropriate table within the Order Module when laboratory tests are ordered or results received. Be sure to contact your lab vendor to ensure they are sending LOINC codes with their results.
