Clients who are live on 5.8 UD1 (version 5.8.1.28) must have hotfix 82 or higher installed prior to applying the latest medication update (Medication Updates_04_2015). Failure to have hotfix 82 or higher in place prior to installing the latest medication update (and all subsequent medication updates) will result in a performance issue when using the NextGen® KBM templates. (See Problem 55340 in the Known Issue List in the Knowledge Exchange for more information.) If you have not kept current with hotfixes, it is strongly recommended that you test and apply the latest available hotfix (es) as soon as possible.
Important Note to NextGen Healthcare Hosted Clients: Hotfixes are not automatically applied as they must be tested against your workflows. If you are a hosted client, please open a support ticket to request the latest hotfix to be applied. To open a support ticket, please log into Service Desk Express and select the subject: Hosting Support. In the Issue Description, request the latest application hotfix to be applied to your Test database.
