Managing Cases in the Success Community – Best Practices / Simulations
We’re making it easier than ever to submit your case on the Success Community. When you click on the Cases tab, you will be greeted by our new Case category page. Select the product of interest—ambulatory, dental, or other (including billing!).
As you begin to type the subject of your case, the Success Community will search, in real time, for knowledge articles, known issues, and even other users’ questions to help you find your answer before you open your case. We want to ensure you find your answer as quickly and as efficiently as possible!

Creating a Billing Inquiry Case (HTML video, 3:30)
From the beginning, our goal has been to make the Success Community your one resource for everything NextGen Healthcare. We’re closing in on that goal by adding billing inquiries to the Success Community. Submit a case with our Account Services team and see your accounting queries addressed directly on the Success Community. One more reason to log in!
Expanding the Success Community – Welcoming Dental Clients
The Success Community grows a little as our QSIDental clients join the community. Hundreds of new clients will join in on Chatter conversations, share best practices, and submit solution ideas for NextGen Healthcare technologists. Be sure to say hi!
New Contact Roles for Success Community Users
We welcome all of the members of your organization and offer different access permissions for different roles at your organization. Now, you have the option to assign a contact role to the users from your organization so that we can share the right information with the right people.
Choose from:
- Accounting Receiver – This person would handle any billing queries and questions.
- Clinician Receiver – These are the medical professionals at your organization.
- IT Receiver – These are the technical professionals at your organization.
- License Key Receiver – These are the people who would receive keys for any new licenses for NextGen Healthcare products.
- NG Product Admin (Front Office) Receiver – These are your non-clinical staff such as front office.

Bonus: This is also a great opportunity to take a quick audit of what users you have setup for the Success Community. Are there any new people that should be added, any contacts that should be removed? With so many great webinars, events, and releases coming up, it’s a great time to ensure your organization is enabled with Success Community access for your people.
