On Thursday, Sept. 8, CMS confirmed the initial reporting period for the new Quality Payment Program will begin January 1, 2017. While adding flexible part-year reporting options to help practices transition to the program (a key requirement under pending MACRA regulations), CMS left in place a maximum penalty of -4% for organizations who fail to report in 2017.
It’s important for eligible clinicians to continue working toward the transition to the Quality Payment Program . NextGen Healthcare is ready to partner with you, offering services and solutions for MACRA success, just as we did for Meaningful Use and ICD-10.
