Access fast help for your NextGen® Ambulatory EHR, NextGen® Practice Management (NextGen PM), and NextGen® Knowledge Base Model (NextGen KBM)!
Quick, easy help is here! NextGen® Learning Services announces our new set of Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for NextGen® Ambulatory EHR, NextGen® Practice Management (NextGen PM), and NextGen® Knowledge Base Model (NextGen KBM).
Use QRGs for succinct, structured help to perform specific tasks. Available for new or existing clients, these guides are easier to use than full user guides, concentrating on a single, standard workflow (or task) in a step-by-step instructional format.
Tap into QRGs as a primary means of information – or as a supplement to more detailed training workbooks, training classes, or user guides. QRGs are easily accessible guides that outline the standard workflow used to successfully perform specific tasks, assist with quickly training newly hired users, and provide a refresher for infrequently performed tasks.
Clients can access QRGs from the NextGen Healthcare Knowledge Exchange (KE) as follows:
- Getting a KE User ID and Password
- Go to NextGen Healthcare Knowledge Exchange
- Click on Register. Complete the required fields to register for a nextgen.com web account. (This account will provide access to exclusive content and valuable resources.)
- Once you have your new account, follow the above instructions to log in and access the QRGs.
- Logging in and Searching the KE
- Go to NextGen Healthcare Knowledge Exchange
- Enter your User Name and Password. Select Login.
Note: If you’ve forgotten your Username or Password, simply select the appropriate link for assistance.

- Once there, click in the search field, type in a word or phrase, and then click the arrow to the right of the search field.
- Choose a filter (Product, Version, Module, or Specialty) to narrow the list of QRGs and make the search easier.
