Appriss PDMP changes patch

NextGen Healthcare clients using prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP) integration with Appriss Health please note the below-described issue regarding “role mapping” and the availability of a corrective patch.

As required by various state role-based access rules, Appriss Gateway employs a number of “user roles” that control who accesses PDMP reports. Previously, NextGen® Enterprise EHR provider roles did not map to the roles in Appriss, therefore, it was essential that clients managed PDMP access at the NextGen system level.

Our R&D team has created a patch to correct this issue. The patch is now available on the Success Community along with the install instructions and release notes for both NextGen Enterprise EHR versions 5.9 and 5.9.1. Additionally, you can reference the updated PDMP Setup Guide on the Success Community. 5.9.2 version and above do not require any patches to correct the issue.
