We would like to further clarify the new “Opt-Out” service provision. This new “Opt-Out” service provision applies to NextGen Share services that may be turned on by default. At this time, the only service which is activated by default is the Core Service (i.e. basic connectivity), which is a permanent “Opt-Out” by design. The new Terms of Service refers only to Services other than the Core Service. Although in the future we will deploy certain services automatically and users will have to actively opt out to disable, no Services were deployed as Opt-Out on May 1. When we are ready to deploy services in this way, we will provide specific advance notice.
