2015 Edition Certified…For Success!

Meet your reporting goals with 5.9

NextGen Ambulatory EHR 5.9–“5.9”–has achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) 2015 Edition Health IT Module certification from the Drummond Group, LLC, an authorized certification body (ACB). It’s included in the combined General Release (GR) version of NextGen Ambulatory EHR/PM 5.9 NextGen® Knowledge Base Model (NextGen KBM) 8.4–“5.9/8.4.”

This stamp of approval designates that NextGen Ambulatory EHR 5.9 is 2015 Edition certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT) and offers the functionality for eligible providers and hospitals to meet MIPS ACI and Meaningful Use Stage 3 requirements. This qualifies our clients to receive payments under the ongoing Quality Payment Program (QPP) and Meaningful Use (MU) EHR Incentive Programs.

Great timing

In its Quality Payment Program final rule for 2018–released the same week NextGen Ambulatory EHR 5.9 achieved ONC-HIT 2015 Edition certification–CMS announced the availability of bonus incentive payments tied to the exclusive use of 2015 Edition CEHRT in Year 2 (2018) for the Advancing Care Information (ACI) performance category of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
