The global period for the repair of retinal detachment codes 67101 and 67105 will be reduced from 90 days to 10 days.
The descriptions were updated including the removal of the words “1 or more sessions” so the services could be valued based on a single session. Retreatment, if any, would be reported separately with these same codes.
Only one of these codes can be reported per session.
