Attention NextGen® Ambulatory Hosted Clients! The new year brings new, more flexible options to our NextGen Healthcare Hosted clients. Based upon feedback we received from the assessment we conducted with you last summer, we are happy to tell you about a couple of new processes which will provide quicker turnaround times for some common requests.

Need additional Microsoft user licenses? Our hosting support staff can now add users on the fly! Just open a support ticket and we will immediately add the user(s) you request. No more paperwork, checking and validating licenses are available prior to granting access. Should additional fees apply based upon your hosting addendum, reconciliation will occur afterwards. Your new staff will no longer have to wait for access to NextGen Healthcare.

Buy a new printer? If your printer uses a Microsoft Certified Driver, we can now add printers to your hosted environment within hours of your request. No more waiting for days or weeks while compatibility is researched. Simply purchase a printer that is Microsoft Certified; and open a hosting support ticket requesting the printer be added. You can find a list of Microsoft Certified printers by visiting this website: http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/default.aspx . Devices with non-certified drivers will still be reviewed, but this will result in a delay and could possibly be rejected.

A Direct line to Hosting Support is now operational! Have you noticed there is a new option when you call NextGen Healthcare Support? Hosted clients with requests for new user licenses, requests to add a new printer to your environment, or issues regarding connectivity or performance should open a Support ticket directly with the Hosting team. Via the Client Support Center you can choose the appropriate subject that begins with Hosting. If you prefer to contact us by phone, there are new menu options. At the first prompt, select option 2 for Ambulatory clients. At the next prompt select 2 for a new incident. At the third prompt select 6 for Hosting Support.
