We are pleased to announce the availability of our newest release of NextGen® Health Quality Measures (NextGen HQM) ― HQM 3.8.; now easier to use and more intuitive than ever. It’s new, improved, and more streamlined. The HQM development team has worked diligently incorporating client feedback reflected in new features and functionality that enhance the overall user experience and enable seamless quality reporting for the major reporting initiatives.
No action is required from you ― the NextGen HQM 3.8 upgrade is completely automatic. Simply log in as you normally would and you’ll readily see many of the enhancements that have been asked for, including:
- Refreshed homepage
- Improved navigation throughout the application
- Streamlined workflow
- Accessible across multiple platforms (laptops, tablets, smart phones, etc.)
- More intuitive access to reports; fewer clicks
- Link to recently run reports directly from the home page
In addition, NextGen HQM 3,8 has a new integrated, more robust server-based de-identification tool that improves secure data encryption and transmission process so you can more easily submit MU, PQRS, and similar quality reporting programs more efficiently. Current NextGen HQM users are encouraged to upgrade their client-side service to ensure MU readiness.
