We are pleased to announce the General Release of NextGen® Mobile Solutions 10.1.0 for iOS. With this new release, NextGen Mobile expands the capability of NextGen® Ambient Assist, making it the first integrated solution to offer Artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled support for diagnosis codes and order management. NextGen Mobile Solutions 10.1.0 for iOS is now available on the iOS App Store for iPhone and iPad.

NextGen Mobile Solutions 10.1.0 for iOS marks a significant advancement in leveraging AI-driven listening technology to protect against provider burnout and boost efficiency. New features include:
NextGen Ambient Assist Updates:
- Diagnosis Suggestions generated note appears in the Diagnosis module in Today’s Visit
- Lab & Radiology Suggestions generated note appears in the Orders module in Today’s Visit
- New specialty models for Primary Care, Cardiology and Psychiatry, accessible through the Settings menu
- New Picture-in-Picture Mode allows users to minimize the ambient audio media screen to allow review of documents and patient chart information
- New Pediatric model includes Well Child Check, available via settings screen of main ambient workflow
- Enhanced patient context (name, age, gender) capture improves note accuracy
- Spanish language support captures conversations in Spanish—providing support for the second most common language spoken in the U.S
Redesigned Diagnosis Workflow:
- New workflow is accessed in Today’s Visit and search multiple assessments at once
- Add multiple codes at once, drag and drop to reorder, quickly find previously added and/or commonly used codes, and get auto-generated code suggestions
Direct to Desktop (D2D) Dictation Updates:
- Larger Mic icon in D2D mode for easier Start/Stop of records and new recording indicators on D2D desktop
- Option to ‘Auto Launch Speech Box’ available in Mobile Settings > Edit Dictator Page. Also includes a new verbal command ‘Open Speech Box’
UX Updates to Patient Chart:
- Updates to the Patient Chart (formerly known as patient details)
- A fresh take on patient demographics makes it easier to find important details
Support for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
- Email based One Time Password (OPT) support for Cloud portal users
- New banner notification to alert users when authentication expires for the given period
